Composing Movie/TV music – colouring visual components with an imagination without limits.

Music ... it's incredible therapy and the frequencies are medicine – it's the health treatment of the future.

Blade Runner (1982) – Ridley Scott genius.

Javier Bardem ... sigh ...
17. If you had to wear a uniform, what would it be?
Boudica – full battle regalia. The cuff is my daily uniform.
18. Your favourite period in history?
I suspect the 19th century over the deep yearnings in the Brontë sisters' and Thomas Hardy's books.

Hold on tight – your best years are yet to come! Still saying it. 😊
20. If you could live and work in another country, where would it be?
UK – where I can live among the green hills, speak English and be close to friends and family, and close enough to Europe to go weekending and practice my Dutch, Spanish, Italian, German and French.
21. If you could invite three people for dinner, who would they be and what would you like to talk to them about?
Quincy Jones – his musical integrity and talent as a pioneer in the most difficult times until now.
Iyanla Vanzant – just listening to her life wisdom.
Robert Edward Grant – all about everything cosmic and the magical Creation in which and through which we live.

N.P. van Wyk Louw's “Ballade van die Nagtelike Ure".

Paul Emsley.
25. What's the most expensive thing you've ever blown money on?
Oh, I don't blow money; I squeeze “Van Riebeeck" until his eyes tear up LOL – house/car – everything second hand, because I buy “green".
26. Is there an older woman who inspires you?
Joni Mitchell – another Scorpio, day before me on November 7, who never gave up her True North for The Suits; despite her health problems, at 81 she continues to create – who wrote “Woodstock": “we are stardust, we are golden". What an example of honouring your talent.
27. Who do you long for these days?
All my loved ones who are gone: Mama Annie, Uncle Renè, Uncle Fanus, the love of my life, Chipi van der Merwe, all my Labradors – and I wish I could have gotten to know my Papa Albert as an adult ... Being alone is good, but it's lonely.
