I HAVE sympathy for Republican Never-Trumpers who feel frustrated that the candidate representing their interests was outmaneuvered by a strong but not brilliant candidate in Tuesday night's (Wednesday morning SA time) presidential election debate.
Kamala Harris showed why she was a good prosecutor rather than why she could be an important president. Well, as it seemed to me, a very good prosecutor.
Personally, however, I have no sympathy for Trump, who appeared to underestimate Harris, generally showed low energy, was poorly prepared, and almost every time ran like a hungry hyena afetr the bait she threw out to him...
