Fanie Cloete
AcademicFanie Cloete is an emeritus professor in political science at the universities of Stellenbosch and Johannesburg. He was involved in the planning and implementation of the political reform process in South Africa during the 1980s, in preparation for the later negotiated political settlement that led to the current democratic political dispensation. He is conducting research on critical moments during that period.
