This one is too good not to share. As someone who gave up mascara years ago because it always irritated my eyes, I came across this Japanese miracle: Sensai 38°C.
It comes off only with warm water, is not activated by any oils and never smudges. The price depends on the type of brush you want.

For a long time, I've been eyeing the Lumeo headlight, apparently the best on the market. But now a mini Lumeo keychain light is available and it is irresistible.
Don't underestimate this product: it can light up an entire room, has a flip-out stand, a hook for hanging, a magnet for attaching it to any magnetic surface, and is compatible with a tripod. (It even has a bottle opener.)
Available at Lumeo for R249.

Picture frames are one of my weaknesses. I will always find a reason to buy a retro frame or a bad painting from the thrift store so I can reuse the frame.
While worth it, professional framing is expensive. You should hang your head in shame if you place a Sanel Aggenbach in a pre-loved frame, but Mr Price Home has incredible “gallery frames” for your photos or artwork. Professional and affordable in several sizes.

Two WaterBear ocean thrillers caught the eye this month.
Chasing the Thunder: For once, organised crime gets its just deserts. Two Sea Shepherd marine conservation captains pursue and confront the illegal poaching and pirate fishing vessel Thunder. The pursuit lasts 110 days, stretches over 10,000 nautical miles and spans three oceans from Antarctica to West Africa.
Watson tells the story of Paul Watson, who founded Sea Shepherd after realising Greenpeace's “Gandhi approach" of observing and documenting was not working and that humanity was not going to survive with a dead ocean. The turning point in his life came when he realised whale oil was being used to produce intercontinental missiles. His life motto is: “Rock the boat, or you're not doing your job."

Good news! You can now renew your vehicle licences online … no need to go anywhere.
You can choose to have your disc couriered to your address or collect it from your nearest driver's licence testing centre.
The process is easy: log in to the NaTIS platform and select “Renew Motor Vehicle Licence". Then choose the relevant licence disc/car and capture your payment details.
