Eben Venter

Eben Venter lives in Lismore, Australia with his partner Gerard. It is here that he wrote three of his novels, of which Groen Soos die Hemel Daarbo (translated into English entitled Green as the Sky is Blue) was the last. Last year, he obtained a doctorate on a theory of translation from the University of Queensland. His latest novel – which he wrote in English and translated into Afrikaans – has a rhinoceros cow a main character.
