It is rare for a book to speak more in silence than in words, but Truth to Power: My Three Years Inside Eskom is an exception. André de Ruyter, the utility's former CEO, employs innuendo, insinuation and suggestion to make convincing claims without crossing the no-man's land between criminal intelligence and burden of proof.
This was also his strategy in the eNCA interview with Annika Larsen in February and during his recent appearance before the National Assembly's standing committee on public accounts (Scopa)...
