ONE can never fully imitate someone's life, but if you know what you're doing, there will be many people who believe you. The TV series Daisy Jones & The Six has attracted a lot of favourable comments because of the music in it – and especially because it so easily makes us believe that we now have a good idea of what really happened to Fleetwood Mac.
To be more precise, what really happened between Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham. Never mind that Nicks and Buckingham are still alive, there is no law that prevents one from mythologizing the undead.
For those who haven't seen the series: It's about a group, The Six, with guitarist Billy Dunne (played by Sam Claflin) at the centre. They struggle to become more than a flash-in-the-pan band...
